Bonface is Malawian business executive who has worked in 10 African markets in various capacities and have done business in a couple dozen other countries in total over the past 25 years. Bonface has worked in Audit, Automotive industry, Telecoms, Agricultural sector and solutions and Fintech space.

Bonface is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants – FCCA and a Certified Public Accountant – CPA with 25 years’ experience including three start-ups in Madagascar, Ghana and South Sudan with Zain.

Bonface has worked as CFO for renowned Telecom Companies namely Celtel, Zain, Airtel, Cell C and Globacom group in Nigeria amongst a few as well as in the innovation and Fintech space with Seamless Distribution Systems AB as the Global Accounts Director for Africa. He has now founded Malcel PLC to bring back home all the knowledge and experiences he has amassed over the past two decades on the African continent to come up with a state-of-the-art digital mobile network in Malawi.

His passion remains driving impactful change across the African continent with an aim to empower local populations to use technology to uplift their lives and help their communities well as driving financial inclusion across Africa and digitisation of value and thereby transferring such value seamlessly across different communities in Africa.

With his vast Africa experience spanning from West Africa, East Africa, Central Africa, and Southern Africa he has a unique insight and appreciation of the various business practices, various cultures, and indeed various tax regimes across the continent which will serve him well in this capacity.
